Newton, NJ – September is Library Card Sign-up Month and the Sussex County Library System (SCLS) invites the community to join the celebration. Get, use, or share your SCLS library card this September for a chance to win.
Two Ways to Win:
1. Get, Use, or Renew Your Library Card
Get, use, or renew your Sussex County Library System card during September and you’ll automatically be entered to win a library swag bundle, including a lunch box, umbrella, 40 oz. travel tumbler with straw, and tote. There will be one winner at each participating branch.
2. Refer a Friend
Share your library love with friends, neighbors, and family members during Library Card Sign-up Month! Pick up a Refer-a-Friend sheet at your SCLS branch or on Dot Mobile Library. You fill out the Referred by information, and your friend fills out the Refer a Friend information. They must bring the completed form to an SCLS branch or Mobile Library and get a new library card by September 30. You’ll both be entered to win a grand prize: a bundle of gift cards for each of you, with a total value of $75 for area food and entertainment.
With an SCLS library card, you can do far more than borrow books. Enjoy free workshops and events, download audiobooks, stream movies, explore online learning, and borrow museum passes, cake pans, Wi-Fi hotspots, and more. Getting a card is easy — visit any SCLS branch or Dot Mobile Library with proof of residency or employment, or apply online. Library cards are available to anyone living, working, or going to school in Sussex County (except Sparta).
